It's Monday...BLAH! I'm having a really hard time with the scale. I know my eating could be better on most days and I really really need to implement a real work out program but I'm getting discouraged fast.
The NSVs are good but I really really want to see the scale move in a big way.
How did all your work out crazies get and stay motivated? When do you work out and how do you justify the time away from your family?
Thanks band of blog buddies!

I am not a work out "crazy", but I do exercise every day. I have a four-legged partner who lives for our walks. We go every morning for 30 minutes, rain or shine. I also try to ride my bike a couple of times a week. I'd like to find more time to swim and/or go to the gym, but I have kept this schedule for years. Since I walk outdoors, my kids can come with me so I don't feel bad taking time from the family. Sometimes I walk in the evenings too. Walking is free, requires no special equipment or clothes and is fun!
ReplyDeletewell finding time is easy for me since i'm jobless and familyless :-)
ReplyDeleteI work out at home at the same time as the hubby and my two girls play while we do it so we're all essentially together. I used to do an hour at the gym every day and I forced myself not to feel guilty. Taking time for me made me a better mom and wife in reality - and I was worth it. You are too Chele.
ReplyDeleteThis has always been a dilemma for me in the past, so I'm trying really hard for us all to do something together. Its still hard though. Tonight I did some 'moves" while the kids were playing in the tub.
