Headline Reads - Pregnant Lady Force Feeds Banded Lady Doughnut

It was my fault...I bought her the donut! And she took a couple bites and then felt sick. So the doughtnut went back in the bag that was when it began calling my name. It told me how delicious it was and how it would be fine to eat it since it was only half of a donut.

I ate it. I admit it...I ate the donut. And it was good and then I felt like a total failure! I haven't dropped any pounds even though I've dropped my pants. And in my discouragement, I ate the donut.

  4. Carmen - your comment is too funny!

Chele - don't feel too bad. It's ok to choose to eat a bit of a donut once in awhile. If you give yourself permission then you get back on the wagon that much faster. And maybe - oddly - that donut might help the scale to jump again. Each meal is a new test - choose wisely for the rest of the day and you'll come out ahead.

  5. Agreed! It was only a half a donut and you don't do it every day! This is from someone who wanted to lick the chicken she was cooking earlier just for some flavor. (On the pre-op)

  6. The donuts here where I live called me too! They must have been cousins. It happened shortly after my surgery and I couldn't get it out of my head. The good part is that I only ate one instead of the 6 I normally would have scarfed down. I blogged about it too. So feel good that you didn't binge on multiple donuts.

  7. It's the guilt and frustration that gets you, not the donut. Let it go. It wasn't that bad.

  8. The donuts will get us every time - they are irresistible. Don't beat yourself up - we've all had a slip up. Just jump back on the wagon, girl :)

  9. COme on my girl, let it go. We are allowed that stuff in moderation.. If you deprive yourself you may go out and eat a lot more then half a donut. So start tomorrow as a new day,... Take care...

  10. I'm on a pre-op liquid diet (being banded on Thursday!!!) you have no idea how much I want to eat all of those donuts!

But, its happened and there is no point worrying about it, at least your friend ate some so its not like you have a whole donut now is it?
